SGS NETWORKS (“SGSNET,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides business software services, including invoicing, document delivery, warehouse management, customer communication, reporting, and related administrative tools.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use SGSNET websites, applications, and connected services, including services that integrate with Google APIs such as Gmail.

1. Information We Collect

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve SGSNET services

  • Process invoices, estimates, payments, orders, shipments, and related business records
  • Send business emails that users initiate or configure through SGSNET services
  • Maintain security, prevent misuse, and troubleshoot service issues

  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations

3. Google API and Gmail Data Use

SGSNET may use Google APIs when a user connects a Gmail account to an SGSNET service.

When Gmail is connected, SGSNET uses Gmail API access only to send business emails that users initiate or configure through SGSNET services, such as invoices, receipts, payment notices, document delivery messages, customer notifications, and related business communications.

SGSNET does not use Gmail API access to read, search, download, analyze, or store the contents of a user’s mailbox.

SGSNET does not sell Google user data.

SGSNET does not use Google user data for advertising.

SGSNET does not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, comply with applicable law, protect against security threats, or as otherwise permitted by the Google API Services User Data Policy.

OAuth refresh tokens are stored in encrypted form. Access to integration credentials is limited to backend services that require them to provide the connected functionality.

4. Email Sending

When a user connects a Gmail account, SGSNET may send emails using that connected Gmail account according to the user’s configuration and permissions.

The sender address, reply-to address, email templates, and email settings may be configured within SGSNET services. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to send email from the configured sender address.

5. Third-Party Services

SGSNET may integrate with third-party services such as Google, Stripe, email providers, cloud hosting providers, and other business platforms.

Your use of third-party services may also be governed by those providers’ own terms and privacy policies. SGSNET is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information:

  • With service providers that help us operate SGSNET services
  • With authorized users within your company or organization
  • When required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request
  • To protect the rights, safety, and security of SGSNET, our users, or others
  • In connection with a business transfer, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We do not sell personal information.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information.

Sensitive integration credentials, such as OAuth refresh tokens and API keys, are stored in encrypted form where supported by the service architecture.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain business records, and support security or audit requirements.

Integration credentials may be removed or disabled when a user disconnects the related service or when an administrator removes the integration.

9. User Choices and Controls

Depending on your role and permissions, you may be able to:

  • Update account or company information
  • Manage email provider settings
  • Connect or disconnect Gmail access
  • Update payment or integration settings
  • Request deletion or correction of certain information

10. Children’s Privacy

SGSNET services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International Users

SGSNET is operated from the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of SGSNET services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
